Borovets Ski Pistes
The Borovets ski pistes offer the best selection of skiing and snow boarding in Bulgaria. There is something available for all levels, from pure beginners who will enjoy the well qualified ski instructors, to experienced off-piste skiers who can hire a guide and enjoy the wilder parts of the mountain.
The Borovets skiing is located in 3 main areas. The Markujik area is at the highest level and has wide open pistes and stunning mountain top views. The Yastrebets area offers the most challenging skiing and here the pistes wind down through the forests. The Yastrebets pistes benefit from snow cannons which ensure perfect conditions are maintained throughout the season. The Rila pistes are convenient for those who want to remain close to the action as all the pistes in this area end in the village.
